I am thankful for being 22 pounds lighter and healthier than I was in June. No diets for me, been there done that, instead a healthier lifestyle has taken place. In June I started doing energy work as well as other modalities I use in my sessions on me which has helped clear blocks that had been in my way of being healthy. I started doing cardio 30-120 minutes 5-6 days a week. I love cardio, it gives me the oppertunity to Rock out to Awesome music, kinda like dancing. I started eatting more real food & approached in-take with nurturing myself. I also became best friends with water. I started to remind myself of the passion I had for working out & being healthy. In middle school & high school I used to go to an aerobics class before school and then after school I would go running by the lake for 30-45minutes (giving thanks for all the beautiful things I saw- trees, lake, dirt, sand, sky, sun, clouds, people smiling...). The year my mom's mom was dying of cancer I did a course we called January Short Term at Roycemore School (we were given the chance to pick an interest we wanted to learn about independately) on Health Clubs. That interest had stemed from my original interest of Massage. I will always be thankful to the show Mr.Rogers for having a career day and having a massage therapist on the show. Since that show I have always known that is what I want to do. January Short Term made a huge impact on me, one it gave time to learn about health clubs in Texas and spend the last days I'd have with my mom's mom (whom I was always very close to) and a chance to see and learn about the different departments in Pat's health club Evanston Athletic Club. That was the health club I took such fun aerobic classes from. I am always open to learning more modalaties & gather more tools to add fun and knowedge to what is working for me now in my healthier lifesytle.
